Hey guys. Here's another idea for that artist exercise I mentioned yesterday morning. This composition seems a little better, though it still needs work. I'm not sure why I'm fiddling with the sketchbook. I've other things to do. Just blowing off steam and getting some ideas down while they're coming to me, I guess.
I've been using mostly colored pencils with these since the sketchbook paper seems to leave a slight clay film on my marker nibs. But, since I'm just screwing around here, I didn't want to use my good pencils. So, I picked up a set of Dick Blick brand since they were cheap. And you know what? They work great! Much better than Prismacolors in my mind - I always found Prismacolors a little too soft.
Now if I can just find an electric pencil sharpener that doesn't drive Holly nuts.
