Here's the finished image from this evening. The glitter that's on the beads and her eyeshadow didn't show up in the scan, I'm afraid. The Spicas are very shiny when the light's directly on them, but are barely noticeable otherwise.

'Got Beads' | inks, copic markers, spica glitter pens, white pencil, white gel pen | 5x7 | SOLD
I need to sit down tomorrow and do a quick inventory of which markers are running low. I ran across a few this evening that were about out of juice, so it's time to decide which refills are needed and which I can wait a little longer for. Just maintenance that I keep putting off.
Tomorrow is for the coloring of the Ruby Cupid image as well as the clean sketches of two card commissions. So, I should get some sleep. Thanks again!

It turned out amazing Darc. It was incredible watching you color it, thanks. The detail is amazing, great piece.
Thanks Tyler! I like doing the live draws. Especially now that the sound situation is better. I can't believe we didn't realize how to get the microphone on the camera to work. I thought it didn't have one at first. *laughs*
Love the background colors-they really add to the piece without distracting from the character.
And I am so partial to foxes... :-)
@Alan: Thanks! I was hoping the greens and purples would complement the reds nicely. :D
@Iron Ed: Foxes are awesome. Them and puffins. I love puffins. :D
The beads being thrown/dropped in the background also create a nice effect. Kinda reminds me of some of the visual effects used in movies-like the James Bond credits.
