Sketchbook - Carousel horses

So, here's today's sketchbook page. I wanted to try drawing a carousel horse for the watercolor practice and figured I'd sketch a few to warm up. Sketches done with the Pentel pocket brush pen. References from Google image search - "carousel horses".

The watercolor practice is finished. I'm just waiting for it to finish drying before shoving it into the scanner. It'll be up in a bit.

Wow! These are really nice! I can't even draw MLP-style ponies from references as well as you do 'realistic' horses!

@Iron Ed: Thanks! I love drawing horses. They're just so enjoyable for some reason.

@Ulla: Thank you! :D

LOL! I think women like horses as much as they do chocolate! (Yeah; stereotype, I know, but a funny stereotype with no harm. :-) At least no harm that I'm aware of. Any women out there want to correct me??) Although, now that I think of it, Autumn Pingo does not like chocolate.

Hah! Probably. I remember my mom making a batch of chocolate brownies once and then sitting down and eating them all in one day. Chocolate was NOT allowed in the house for a while after that. :D
