I do like the idea of doing more oddly colored horses. That could be fun. I used seven colors - peach, magenta, blue-gray, light blue, yellow, yellow-orange, and black - with a bit of white gel pen for some quick touch-ups.

Now to do my reading and relax. Yay!

I don't know how anyone can complain about this. You did a wonderful job! And then I remember how long it's been since you did water-colors and...wow! :-)
fyi... I always like reading the quotes you put at the bottom of your posts too.
I wish I could do that with my watercolours! And just for your information: I am looking forward to everyone of your posts, and your blog is a great motivation and inspiration for me!
She's doing it again! WHICH! BURRRNNN!!!
ok, this joke get's old.
Anyway, great job you did there! Especially if i consider how much watercolours hate me...
Incredible work Darc, absolutely amazing.
@Iron Ed: Thanks! :D I forgot how much fun working with watercolor is. :D
@Ulla: Thank you! I'm glad the blog is helpful! I need to get back into the habit of sharing interesting resources again. I was doing so well for a bit there.
@Hex: Hah! Do your worst! I'm impervious to fire! *touches flame* Ow! Burny! Thanks! :D
@Tyler: Thanks! I'm looking forward to more practice. :D
Real late on this, but the horses are beautiful. By the way, have you ever been to the Paragon Carousel in Hull? It's really pretty, only about 45 minutes from Plymouth too.
@Laurie: Thanks! No, I haven't. Matt and I haven't been up to Hull since a friend of ours moved from there to Boston. I'll have to check it out. Thanks! :D
Hopefully, you'll get to see it. It is a seasonal attraction though so it closes at the end of October until nest spring.
