Sketchbook - Sketch dump

Just some random sketches I've been meaning to scan.

I've been feeling lethargic about drawing lately. Burned out and worn down. I think this week's sketch card will be the last for a while. I love furries, but there are those in the fandom who can - and will - drain you dry at times. It's a pity, but that's just how some people are. They're everywhere.

I need to get back to practicing and working in the sketchbook. It's just that nothing sounds fun right now. It almost feels like my brain can't boot-up. All I seem to have the energy for is staring off into space. I'd be worried, if that didn't take so much energy.

Sheriff: "Fact is, you look a little past it, Hex. Not tired, just all used up."
Jonah Hex: "Well, when I get pushed, I can still shoot a fly out from between its wings. Provided the light's right, of course, and it's a big, plump fly."

These are both good and interesting. I like looking at the sketchy lines vs the final lines in the last two pages. The one with Gadel is particularly interesting because I can see how you make her clothing fit her body shape. Keep up the good work!

The drawing from the inside (bones) out thing is really cool. I can't wait to see more of these.

@Iron Ed: Thanks. I had a lot of time to doodle at FA:U. Though I didn't spend much time behind the table. Was feeling pretty ill and out of it. :P

I tried drawing some of the con attendees on the last page, but didn't want to be noticed. I should head into downtown Plymouth and sketch tourists before they leave for the season. I need some figure drawing from life instead of photos. Shake things up a bit.

@Tyler: Thanks. I was going to start a routine of doing a daily practice sketch of things I need work on, but stuff came up and that quickly got dropped. I've this really cool book on anatomy that has these wonderful diagrams of the bones that are on semi-transparent paper and sit over a photo of that part of the body. Really neat!
