Sketchbook - Cover idea

Worries about future events have made it hard for me to focus today. Which means, I've been bouncing between multiple projects. One thing I have finished so far is a comp idea for the new cover for Issue 15.

People seem to enjoy the marker work a bit more than the digital, it seems. It's also much faster than coloring via computer. So, I think I'll try doing the covers in marker for a bit. It'll keep me working with my Copics now and then. Unfortunately, I'll need to keep commissions closed for a while due to the secret project and those future events that have me worried.

And yes, I'm still trying to get a handle on night scenes.




Meanwhile, I've had this song stuck in my head... Cosmic Love by Florence + the Machine. Unfortunately, it's making me want to work on comic pages, especially ones dealing with Roderick, and not commissions. Some songs just resonate with the story for me. Your mileage may vary.
