Sketchbook - And yet more comp sketches

Yes, more composition sketches, though the last ones for a bit. I now have enough ideas to send off to this week's commissioners. With luck, I'll be able to go ahead with the clean sketches here tomorrow.

Griffins and me are not good friends, apparently. I like griffins, but just can't seem to get a handle on drawing them. Especially at certain angles. I'll make it work, it's just going to be a little tricky. Which, makes it all the more interesting.

One thing I really need to do is increase that wingspan. It's much too small for a critter of his weight.

And, here's another idea for Ruby in a hoodie. I think I like this one the best out of the lot. I can easily see her doing her morning run dressed like this.

Okay, I think that's all for today. The rest of the evening is for emailing commission clients, research, and planning. I've a book on Krav Maga to read for Issue 17. My hope is it will help me figure out various fighting movements. The goal... to make the upcoming action scenes look a little more, well, action-like.
