So please, feel free to poke me if I don't have at least one sketchbook page to show each day. It'll help me keep on track.
Today a book I'd ordered called 388 Great Hairstyles arrived. I figured a little inspiration might help me vary the way hair looks in the comic. So here's today's sketchbook practice, some attempts at hairstyles. The first page is without marker work because there's another sketch on the back. The markers really bleed through my sketchbook pages.

Hair can be very expressive and is one of the few parts of the body that can be reshaped or modified. Do you think that Gadel will ever cut hers?
You do faces that aren't furry, who knew?
@Alan: Probably not. Long hair is a sign of status in Astoria, so I doubt she'd want to shorten hers. Though that would make drawing her a lot easier. :D
@Random Guy: Yep, now and then. :D Usually while doing practice work. Most of my sketchbook work lately has been commission based or comic related.
