The haul consists of one...
Kuretake Bimoji Felt Tip Brush Pen - Broad
Kuretake Bimoji Felt Tip Brush Pen - Medium
Kuretake Bimoji Felt Tip Brush Pen - Fine
Kuretake Bimoji Felt Tip Brush Pen - Super Fine
Kuretake Zig Letter Pen
Kuretake No. 13 Fountain Hair Brush Pen
Akashiya Natural Bamboo Brush Pen - Maple Leaf Carving
And, a replacement Pentel Pocket Brush Pen
I'll be doing some practice inking next week once the remaining commissions in this batch are complete. What I'll do is take the rough sketch of Issue 15, page 1 and transfer it to multiple sketchbook pages. That way, I'll be able to test each pen on a comic page as well as get a lot of practice in. Once I feel comfortable with the brush pens, I'll switch to nicer paper and... off we go.
The finer details will be done using either the Multiliners or the Radiographs. I doubt I'll be able to control my shaky wrist when it comes to tight inking.
The nice thing is, everything except the Bimoji and the Zig pens are refillable. So when I run low, I just go to JetPens and order more ink. Much nicer than constantly throwing the whole pen out and having to buy a new one. I wish I'd known about refillable pens a few years ago. I went through so many Pigma Microns it's not even funny.
Ooo, new tools! I'm so excited!
