I used to be an adventurer...

...'til I took an iced tea to the knee.

True story. My wrist locked up yesterday while I was holding my glass and whoosh, cold tea all down my knee. Damn. My wrist hasn't locked like that in almost a year now. Which means, I'm out of commission drawing-wise today.

Luckily, I've an appointment with Dr. Brian this afternoon so, I'll be back to work tomorrow. Though I may want to do some light drawing instead of jumping right to the markers. The wrist is still a little delicate the day after being reset. Markers on Friday then.

Hmm, what to do today...? I'll think of something.

Sorry to hear about your wrist and your knee. Them Iced Tea injuries can be painful, you're lucky it wasn't a Mr. T injury or we might be exercising pity. (I bet that's the lamest joke you'll hear all week)

Might be lame, but I kinda liked it. (I liked Mr. T. and the A-Team too though. ;-))

But; yeah Tiff, what Tyler said... I also hope you're back in arm-wrestling shape again soon!

I pity th' fool who doesn't like a Mr. T reference! :D

I'm much better today. I injured the wrist working at a library while in high school, and have had problems since. Dr. Brian can usually reset it and it's fine for a while.

I'll admit, Anthrocon's making me a little nervous. I'll be taking sketchbook commissions there and I won't be able to get my wrist readjusted while at the con. Hmm, hopefully it holds up. O.O;

An 'Ace' bandage or other wrapping won't hold it in place for a day or two? Dangit.

No, I'm afraid not. It's the little bones in the wrist that shift around. They don't seem to be affected by being wrapped. I'll just take it easy and keep an eye on it. :D
