Sketchbook - Playing with the Rapido Sketch pen

Morning guys. Here's yesterday's sketchbook offering. I was pleased with it last night, but today it just looks off model and, well, blah. That's what happens when you work on stuff late in the evening, I guess. Just another attempt at using the Rapido Sketch pen.

The reference was a woman in this month's Harper's Bazaar who was wearing a fur hat and skirt. I kid you not. "Miss, don't panic, but I think there's a pack of weasels attacking your hips." The question I have is, what's holding her purse on? Static cling?

I love fashion, but sometimes it leaves me confused. Like one photo where a woman was dressed in a full length white coat with what seemed like giant puffballs all over it. I swear, it looked like she'd been on the loosing side of a snowball fight.

Oh well, fashion is art, and sometimes art isn't meant to be easily understood or accessible. Unless you're doing comics, of course. *grin*

Gotta watch those false eyelashes. They make the eyes seem larger than they really are.
