Cover construction VIII

I was still a little wound up, so I decided to lay in the base colors quick. Nothing really special here. All the detail and interesting bits come in with the shading. Roderick is actually done in full color, there's just a layer effect on him. I want him to look like he's from an old photo while the apple is in full color.



Okay, now I'm starting to get tired. I need to be alert to shade tomorrow and all. The next time you see a post about the cover, it will be finished. Yay. Meanwhile, goodnight.
